Grand opening 17 of April. to my first solo show in Copenhagen.
Show runs till 24 of May.
The show will be a mix of photos and mechanical devices, all playing with the notion of time.

All images have been photographed with an Omega OPS2 Photofinish camera. This camera works a bit like a scanner or a photocopier where the head is stuck, so instead of the head moving over the documents the documents has to move past the head.
In effect this means that the camera only records relative motion, either the camera has to move, (scan the scenery) or the things has to move past it.

The resulting picture is a picture of time not of space.

Devices:
I am still building on these but there will be some mechanical ways of displaying recordings made with the linear slit technology.
I want a train with a bulb mounted on top to drive round in the gallery - projecting a film onto the walls - a film made by filming out of a window from a train.

If possible I will load the Omega OPS2 with rapid development film and record the opening event. (There is a tank that goes with the camera containing both developer and fixer so the judges at the OL in 72 could have a photofinish photo in their hands 5 minutes after the race was over.)
